The Finland-based HMD Global sprung a surprise by unveiling the Nokia 6 in China recently. The phone runs Android Nougat and is priced at 1699 Yuan (Rs 16,000 approx.). It has a 5.5-inch full HD HD display with 2.5 D Gorilla Glass coating. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage is rated at 64GB ( expandable upto 128 GB Via microSd card).There are two speaker grilles with dual- amplifiers and Dollby Atmos technology for enhanced sound output. The smartphone features a 16MP PDAF rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP front camera. The 4g-enable smartphone is backed by 3,000 mAh battery. The home button in Nokia 6 doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. The Nokia flagship is expected to launch in India later this year.

HTC’s next flagship smartphone is expected to be launched at MWC 2017. According to leaks on weibo the HTC 11 will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD (QHD) screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and it said to be featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory. It will come with a dual-camera setup on the back. the upcoming phone is speculated to come with a 3700 mAh battery, which will be much bigger than the current 3,000 mAh battery inside the HTC 10. The phone is also said to feature Qualcomm quick charging 4.0 technology, which offers reduced charging time.

The device will likely be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 835 SoC from Qualcomm While an Exynos 8895- based variant is also being rumoured. It will be paired with either 6GB I RAM or 8GB of RAM. It is also rumoured to sport 256GB of internal storage.

Gionee, the Shenzen headquartered company recently launched Gionee Steel 2 in China. Although there is no official statement as to whether the smartphone will be available in global markets, it is said to come with a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 293 pixels per inch. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and Comes with 3GB of Ram. The device pack 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB via a microSD card. It packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5- megapixel front Shooter. The phone runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-sim and Micro-sim. Connectivity option include Wi-Fi GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for band 40 used by some LTE networks in India.) Sensor on the phone include proximity sensor, Accelerometer ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The stylish smartphone by Asus is scheduled to launch in India in February. The ZenFone 3 Zoom is said to be the thinnest and lightest smartphone featuring a 5,000mAh battery. The upcoming smartphone is reportedly 7.9mm thick and weighs 170 grams. It sports a 5.5-inch full- HD (1080 X 1920 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The camera focused smartphone there’s a dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX362 sensor and f/1.7 aperture and the other 12-megapixel Shooter featuring 2.3x optical zoom -allowing for a total of 12x zoom. Like the Asus ZenFone AR, it features TriTech+ autofocus system, dual-PDAF, 4-axis OIS and 3- axis EIS.
